His father told him that he saw the Prophet ﷺ performing the voluntary night prayer while traveling, atop his mount, in whatever direction it faced.
وقال الليث حدثني يونس عن ابن شهاب قال حدثني
أن أباه أخبره أنه رأى النبي ﷺ صلى السبحة بالليل في السفر على ظهر راحلته حيث توجهت به
