One morning the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rode out, and the sun was eclipsed, so he returned in the forenoon. He passed through the midst of the dwellings and then stood to pray, and the people stood behind him. He stood for a long time, then made a long ruku, then rose and stood for a long time, though less than the first standing. Then he made a long ruku, though less than the first ruku, then rose and prostrated.Then he stood again and remained standing for a long time, though less than the first standing, then made a long ruku, though less than the first ruku. Then he stood for a long time, though less than the first standing, then made a long ruku, though less than the first ruku, then rose and prostrated, and finished the prayer.He then said whatever Allah willed him to say, and he commanded them to seek refuge from the punishment of the grave.
ثم ركب رسول الله ﷺ ذات غداة مركبا فخسفت الشمس فرجع ضحى فمر رسول الله ﷺ بين ظهراني الحجر ثم قام يصلي وقام الناس وراءه فقام قياما طويلا ثم ركع ركوعا طويلا ثم رفع فقام قياما طويلا وهو دون القيام الأول ثم ركع ركوعا طويلا وهو دون الركوع الأول ثم رفع فسجد ثم قام فقام قياما طويلا وهو دون القيام الأول ثم ركع ركوعا طويلا وهو دون الركوع الأول ثم قام قياما طويلا وهو دون القيام الأول ثم ركع ركوعا طويلا وهو دون الركوع الأول ثم رفع فسجد وانصرف فقال ما شاء الله أن يقول ثم أمرهم أن يتعوذوا من عذاب القبر
