I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "While I was sleeping, I saw myself standing at a well with a bucket on it. I drew from it as much as Allah willed. Then Ibn Abu Quhafa took the bucket and drew one or two pails, but there was some weakness in his drawing, and may Allah forgive him his weakness. Then it transformed into a large bucket, and Ibn al-Khattab took it. I have never seen any extraordinary man among the people draw water like Umar drew, until the people had watered their camels and made them kneel by the water."
سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول: بينا أنا نائم، رأيتني على قليب عليها دلو، فنزعت منها ما شاء الله، ثم أخذها ابن أبي قحافة، فنزع بها ذنوبا أو ذنوبين، وفي نزعه ضعف والله يغفر له ضعفه، ثم استحالت غربا فأخذها ابن الخطاب، فلم أر عبقريا من الناس ينزع نزع عمر، حتى ضرب الناس بعطن.
Bukhari narrated it in Fadail al-Sahabah (3664), and Muslim in Fadail al-Sahabah (2392-17), both through the route of Abdullah bin Wahb, from Yunus, from Zuhri, who said, "Ibn Musayab told me, he heard Abu Hurairah say," then he mentioned it.
