Amir bin Saad bin Abu Waqqas reported,

Saad rode out to his estate in al-Aqiq and found a slave cutting down or stripping leaves from a tree, so he confiscated the slave's belongings. When Saad returned, the slave's owners came to him and asked him to return to their slave, or to themselves, what he had taken from him.Saad replied, "Allah forbid that I return something the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has granted me as spoils," and he refused to return it to them.
