I was among those overcome by drowsiness on the day of Uhud, to the point that my sword fell from my hand repeatedly. It would fall and I would pick it up, then fall again and I would pick it up.
كنت فيمن تغشاه النعاس يوم أحد، حتى سقط سيفي من يدي مرارا، يسقط وآخذه، ويسقط فأخذه.
Bukhari narrated it in the chapters on military expeditions (4068), from Khalifa, who said, Yazid bin Zuray narrated to us, who said, Saeed narrated to us, from Qatada, from Anas, from Abu Talha, who said, then he mentioned it.
