We were at Juhfah, at Ghadir Khumm, when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us. He took Ali by the hand and said, "Whoever I am his master, Ali is his master."
كنا بجحفة بغدير خم إذ خرج علينا رسول الله ﷺ فأخذ بيد علي فقال: من كنت مولاه فعلي مولاه.
Ibn Abu Shayba (32735) narrated it from Mutallib bin Ziyad, from Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, from Jabir bin Abdullah, who said, so mentioned it. Its isnad is hasan on account of Mutallib bin Ziyad and his teacher Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, for both of them make the hadith hasan.
