The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has placed the truth upon Umar's tongue and in his heart."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن الله جعل الحق على لسان عمر وقلبه.
Abdullah bin Ahmad narrated it in his additions to al-Fadail (315), and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (6889), both of them through the route of Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad Darawardi, who said, Suhayl bin Abu Salih told me, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who related it.Its chain of transmission is hasan on account of Abdul-Aziz Darawardi and Suhayl bin Abu Salih, for both of them make the hadith hasan.
