The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Who among you is fasting today?"Abu Bakr replied, "I am."He asked, "Who among you has followed a funeral procession today?"Abu Bakr replied, "I am."He asked, "Who among you has fed a poor person today?"Abu Bakr replied, "I am."He asked, "Who among you has visited a sick person today?"Abu Bakr replied, "I am."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "These deeds do not come together in a single person without him entering Paradise."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: من أصبح منكم اليوم صائما؟ قال أبو بكر: أنا. قال: فمن تبع منكم اليوم جنازة؟ قال أبو بكر: أنا. قال: فمن أطعم منكم اليوم مسكينا؟ قال أبو بكر: أنا. قال: فمن عاد منكم اليوم مريضا؟ قال أبو بكر: أنا. فقال رسول الله ﷺ: ما اجتمعن في امريء إلا دخل الجنة.
Muslim narrated it in "Virtues of the Companions" (1028) from Muhammad bin Abu Umar Makki, who said, Marwan bin Muawiya Fazari narrated to us, from Yazid bin Kaysan, from Abu Hazim Ashjai, from Abu Hurairah, who said, and then he mentioned it.
