The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The people of Yemen have come to you. They are the most tender-hearted and gentle in spirit. Faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni. Pride and arrogance are found among the owners of camels, while tranquility and dignity are found among the shepherds of sheep."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: أتاكم أهل اليمن، هم أرق أفئدة، وألين قلوبا، الإيمان يمان، والحكمة يمانية، والفخر والخيلاء في أصحاب الإبل، والسكينة والوقار في أهل الغنم.
Bukhari narrated it in the chapters on military expeditions (4388), and Muslim narrated it in the book of faith (52:91), both through the route of Ibn Abu Adi, who said, Shubah narrated to us, from Sulayman Amash, from Abu Salih Zakwan, from Abu Hurairah, who said, and he mentioned it.
