The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among his companions and said, "Is it poverty you fear, or want, or that worldly life will consume you? Allah will open for you the lands of Persia and Rome, and worldly riches will be poured upon you in abundance. Nothing will lead you astray after me, if anything leads you astray, except that very world."
Ahmad (23982) and Tabarani (18/52) both narrated it through the route of Baqiya bin Walid, who said, "Buhayr bin Saad narrated to me," from Khalid bin Madan, from Jubayr bin Nufayr, from Awf bin Malik, who mentioned it.Its isnad is hasan because of Baqiya bin Walid, for his hadith is hasan when he explicitly states that he heard it directly. And he did explicitly state this in the version recorded by Imam Ahmad.
