The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah will send a wind from Yemen, softer than silk, and it will not leave anyone with even the weight of a grain," and in another narration, "the weight of an atom of faith in his heart, without taking his soul."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن الله يبعث ريحا من اليمن، ألين من الحرير، فلا تدع أحدا في قلبه مثقال حبة- وفي رواية: مثقال ذرة من إيمان إلا قبضته.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Faith (117) through several chains, from Safwan bin Salim, from Abdullah bin Salman, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, and he related the hadith.Qurtubi said, "This wind is sent only after the descent of Isa bin Maryam and his killing of Dajjal, as in the hadith of Abdullah bin Amr, except that in that hadith it comes from the direction of Syria. It may be that it begins from the direction of Yemen, then passes through Syria, blowing from there upon those nearby. The removal of faith in this hadith means the removal of its people, as mentioned in the hadith of Abdullah bin Amr," which is mentioned next.
