The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me, for Satan cannot take on my form."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: من رآني في المنام فقد رآني في اليقظة، فإن الشيطان لا يتمثل على صورتي.
Tirmidhi (2276), Ibn Majah (3900), Imam Ahmad (3559), and Darimi (2143) all narrated it through routes from Sufyan Thawri, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu Ahwas, from Abdullah bin Masud, who mentioned it. Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan sahih hadith."
