I gave the Messenger of Allah ﷺ every kind of drink to drink from this cup of mine, honey, nabidh, water, and milk.
لقد سقيت رسول الله ﷺ بقدحي الشراب كله: العسل والنبيذ، والماء، واللبن.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks (89:2008), through several routes, from Affan, who said, Hammad bin Salama narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, who said, and then he related it as mentioned.His saying, "nabidh," refers to water in which dates are placed to sweeten it. The dates would be put in for him at the beginning of the night, and he would drink from it when morning came.
