The Prophet ﷺ had a silver ring made and engraved on it "Muhammad, Messenger of Allah." He said to the people, "I have had a silver ring made and engraved on it 'Muhammad, Messenger of Allah,' so let no one engrave the same inscription on his own ring."Anas said, "I can still picture its gleam on his little finger."
أن النبي ﷺ اتخذ خاتما من فضة، ونقش فيه محمد رسول الله، وقال للناس: إني اتخذت خاتما من فضة، ونقشت فيه محمد رسول الله، فلا ينقش أحد على نقشه قال أنس: فإني لأري بريقه في خنصره.
Bukhari narrated it in "Clothing" (5874, 5876), and Muslim narrated it in "Clothing" (2092), both of them through Abdul-Aziz bin Suhayb, from Anas, who said, "..." as mentioned.
