I saw the Prophet ﷺ eating dates while squatting.
رأيت النبي ﷺ مقعيا يأكل تمرا.
Muslim reported it in the Book of Drinks (148:2044) through several chains from Hafs bin Ghiyath, from Musab bin Sulaym, who said, "Anas bin Malik narrated to us," and he mentioned it.Muqian means sitting on one's buttocks with the shin raised upright.
