I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating fresh dates together with watermelon.
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يجمع بين الرطب والخربز.
Imam Ahmad (12449), Tirmidhi in Shamail (201), and Nasai in Kubra (6692) reported it through Wahb bin Jareer, who said, my father narrated to us, saying, I heard Humayd Tawil narrating from Anas, and he mentioned it. Its isnad is sahih. Hafiz also declared its isnad sahih in Fath al-Bari (9/573).
