The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, mentioning the appearance of Dajjal, then he said, "The worst of people will be sent forth in a time of decline, with the minds of sheep. They will not recognize what is good, nor reject what is evil. Satan will appear to them and say, 'Will you not respond?'They will ask, 'What do you command us?'He will command them to worship idols, while they are enjoying abundant provision and a good life. Then the Horn will be blown, and no one will hear it without tilting one side of his neck and raising the other. The first to hear it will be a man tending the watering trough of his camels. He will fall dead, and all the people will fall dead. Then Allah will send down, or he said Allah will send down, rain like dew, or like shade," Numan being the one in doubt, "and from it the bodies of the people will grow. Then it will be blown again, and they will be standing, looking on…"
قال رسول الله ﷺ- فذكر خروج الدجال- ثم قال: فيبعث شرار الناس في حقبة الظهر وأحلام الشياه، لا يعرفون معروفا ولا ينكرون منكرا. فيتمثل لهم الشيطان فيقول: ألا تستجيبون؟ فيقولون: ما تأمرنا؟ فيأمرهم بعبادة الأوثان، وهم في ذلك دارة أرزاقهم، وحسن عيشهم، ثم ينفخ في الصور، فلا يسمعه أحد إلا أصغى ليتا، ورفع ليتا. قال: وأول من يسمعه رجل يلوط حوض إبله، قال: فيصعق ويصعق الناس، ثم يرسل الله- أو قال: ينزل الله- مطرا كأنه الطل أو الظل- نعمان الشاك- فتنبت منه أجساد الناس. ثم ينفخ فيه أخرى فإذا هم قيام ينظرون…
Muslim narrated it in the book of Tribulations and Signs of the Hour (2940), from Abdullah bin Muaz Anbari, who said, our father narrated to us, who said, Shuba narrated to us, from Numan bin Salim, who said, I heard Yaqub bin Asim bin Urwa bin Masud Thaqafi say, I heard Abdullah bin Amr, and he mentioned it at length in the story of the emergence of Dajjal.
