I served the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for ten years. By Allah, he never once said to me, "Uff," nor did he ever say about anything, "Why did you do this?" or "Why did you not do that?"In another narration, "I served the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for nine years, and I do not know that he ever said to me, 'Why did you do such and such?' nor did he ever find fault with anything I did."
خدمت رسول الله ﷺ عشر سنين، والله ما قال لي: أفا قط، ولا قال لشيء: لم فعلت كذا؟ وهلا فعلت كذا؟ وفي رواية: خدمت رسول الله ﷺ تسع سنين، فما أعلمه قال لي قط لم فعلت كذا وكذا؟ ولا عاب علي شيئا قط.
Bukhari narrated it in Al-Adab (6038) and Muslim in Al-Fadail (51:2309), both through Thabit Bunani, from Anas bin Malik, who said, and then he mentioned it. The other narration in Muslim (53:2309) is through Saeed bin Abu Burda, from Anas.
