He was asked, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dye his hair?"He replied, "He had only a few grey hairs."
أنه سئل: أخضب رسول الله ﷺ؟ قال: إنه لم ير من الشيب إلا قليلا.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Dress (5894), and Muslim in the Book of Virtues (243:2431), both through the route of Waheeb bin Khalid, from Ayub, from Muhammad bin Sirin, who said, "I asked Anas bin Malik," and he mentioned it.
