The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prepared Fatimah's wedding outfitting with a velvet cloth, a waterskin, and a leather cushion stuffed with idhkhir grass fibers.
جهز رسول الله ﷺ فاطمة في خميل، وقربة، ووسادة أدم، حشوها ليف الإذخر.
It was narrated by Nasai (3384) and Ahmad (643), both from the hadith of Abu Usama, from Zaida bin Qudama, from Ata bin Saaib, from his father, from Ali, and he mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Ata bin Saaib is trustworthy, and the leading scholars affirmed his trustworthiness, except that his memory became confused later in his life. However, Zaida heard from him before this confusion occurred.
