Anas bin Malik reported,

"I never saw anyone more compassionate toward children than the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said, "Ibrahim had a wet-nurse in the outskirts of Madinah, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would set out, with us accompanying him, and enter the house while it was filled with smoke, for his foster-father was a blacksmith. He would take him, kiss him, and then return."

Sahih

عن أنس بن مالك قال

ما رأيت أحدا كان أرحم بالعيال من رسول الله ﷺ. قال: كان إبراهيم مسترضعا له في عوالي المدينة، فكان ينطلق ونحن معه فيدخل البيت، وإنه ليدخن، وكان ظئره قينا، فيأخذه، فيقبله، ثم يرجع.
