When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was experiencing the agonies of death, Fatimah cried out, "Oh, the anguish my father is suffering!"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "After today there will be no more anguish for your father. What has come upon your father is something no one will be spared from. We shall meet again on the Day of Resurrection."
لما وجد رسول الله ﷺ من كرب الموت ما وجد، قالت فاطمة: واكرب أبتاه، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: لا كرب على أبيك بعد اليوم، إنه قد حضر من أبيك ما ليس بتارك منه أحدا، الموافاة يوم القيامة.
Ibn Majah (1629) narrated it, and this is his wording, as did Tirmidhi in Shamail (380) and Abu Yaala (3441), all of them from the hadith of Abdullah bin Zubayr, who said, "Thabit Bunani narrated to us, from Anas bin Malik," and he related it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Abdullah bin Zubayr, who is Baahili, for no one deemed him reliable except Ibn Hibban. However, he is corroborated in the narration of Ahmad (12434), where Mubarak bin Fadala corroborates him, narrating from Thabit with the same account.
