I have never seen anyone suffer more severe pain than the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
ما رأيت أحدا أشد عليه الوجع من رسول الله ﷺ.
Bukhari narrated it in Illnesses (5646), and Muslim in Righteousness and Kinship Ties (44:2570), both through Amash, from Abu Waail, from Masruq, who said, Ayesha said it, and he mentioned it.
