The Prophet ﷺ set out on a Thursday for the expedition of Tabuk, and he loved to set out on Thursdays.
أن النبي ﷺ خرج يوم الخميس في غزوة تبوك، وكان يحب أن يخرج يوم الخميس.
Bukhari related it in jihad (2950) from Abdullah bin Muhammad, who said, Hisham narrated to us, Maamar informed us, from Zuhri, from Abdul-Rahman bin Kaab bin Malik, from his father, and he mentioned it.
