The Prophet ﷺ entered Mecca, and around the Kaabah were three hundred and sixty idols. He began striking them with a stick he held in his hand, saying, "Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood is bound to vanish." [Isra 17:81].
دخل النبي ﷺ مكة، وحول الكعبة ثلاثمائة وستون نصبا، فجعل يطعنها بعود كان بيده ويقول: {جاء الحق وزهق الباطل إن البطل كان زهوقا} [الإسراء: ٨١].
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Injustices (2478), and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Jihad (1781), both of them from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, from Ibn Abu Najeeh, from Mujahid, from Abu Muamar, from Abdullah bin Masud, who related it.
