The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered Mecca with a helmet on his head. When he removed it, a man came to him and said, "Ibn Khatal is clinging to the curtains of the Kaabah."He said, "Kill him."
أن رسول الله ﷺ دخل مكة، وعلى رأسه المغفر، فلما نزعه جاءه رجل فقال: إن ابن خطل متعلق بأستار الكعبة فقال: اقتلوه.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Hajj (1846) and Muslim in the Book of Hajj (1357), both from the hadith of Malik, from Ibn Shihab, from Anas bin Malik, who mentioned it.
