The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent him in command of the army of Dhat as-Salasil. He said, I came to him and asked, "Which of the people is most beloved to you?"He replied, "Ayesha."I asked, "And among the men?"He said, "Her father."I asked, "Then who?"He said, "Umar." Then he listed Some men, so I fell silent, fearing he would place me last among them.
