She said, "When the news of Jafar's death arrived, we could see the grief on the face of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."
قالت: لما أتى نعي جعفر عرفنا في وجه رسول الله ﷺ الحزن.
Hakim narrated it (3/209) through Muhammad bin Ishaq, who said, Qasim narrated to me, from his father, from Ayesha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, who said, and then she mentioned it. Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Ishaq. Hakim graded it sahih according to the criterion of Muslim.The names of those martyred on the day of MutaIbn Ishaq mentioned those who were martyred on the day of Muta, and they were,1. Jafar bin Abu Talib. 2. Zayd bin Haritha. 3. Masud bin Aswad bin Haritha bin Nadla. 4. Wahb bin Saad bin Abu Sarh. 5. Abdullah bin Rawaha. 6. Abbad bin Qays. 7. Harith bin Numan bin Usama. 8. Suraqa bin Amr bin Atiya bin Khansa.Ibn Hisham said, and among those martyred on the day of Muta, as mentioned by Ibn Shihab, were,9. Abu Kulayb. 10. and Jabir, the two sons of Amr bin Zayd bin Awf. 11. and Amr. 12. and Amir, the two sons of Saad bin Harith.
