Abu Musa Ashari reported,

We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a military expedition. We were six men sharing a single camel, taking turns riding it. Our feet became blistered and torn. My own feet were blistered and my toenails fell off. We used to wrap rags around our feet, so this expedition was called the Expedition of the Patches, because of the rags we bound around our feet.Abu Burda said, Abu Musa narrated this hadith, then he disliked having done so. It was as though he disliked that he had disclosed something of his own deeds.Abu Usama said, Someone other than Burayd added to me, "And Allah will reward him for it."
