Abdullah bin Umar reported,

When the people of Khaybar dislocated the hands and feet of Abdullah bin Umar, Umar stood up to address the people and said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ dealt with the Jews of Khaybar regarding their properties and said, 'We will leave you here as long as Allah leaves you.' Now Abdullah bin Umar went out to his property there, and he was attacked at night, his hands and feet were dislocated. We have no enemies there other than them. They are our enemies and the ones we suspect. I have decided to expel them."When Umar resolved upon this, one of the sons of Abu al-Huqayq came to him and said, "Commander of the Believers, will you expel us when Muhammad ﷺ kept us here, dealt with us regarding the properties, and stipulated that for us?"Umar replied, "Did you think I had forgotten the words of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, 'How will it be with you when you are driven out of Khaybar, your camel carrying you swiftly night after night?'"The man said, "That was just a jest from Abu Qasim."Umar said, "You have lied, enemy of Allah."So Umar expelled them and gave them the value of what they had of fruit, in money, camels, and goods such as saddles, ropes, and other things.
