The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions were brought some parched barley meal, and they chewed it.
- كان رسول الله ﷺ وأصحابه أتوا بسويق فلاكوه.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Military Expeditions (4175), from Muhammad bin Bashshar, who said, Ibn Abu Adi narrated to us, from Shubah, from Yahya bin Saeed, from Bashir bin Yasar, from Suwayd bin Numan, who related it.
