Ibn Muhayriz reported,

I entered the mosque and saw Abu Saeed Khudri, so I sat down with him and asked him about coitus interruptus.Abu Saeed said, "We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the expedition against Banu Mustaliq, and we captured some Arab women as prisoners. We desired the women, and celibacy had become difficult for us, so we wanted to practice coitus interruptus. We said, 'Shall we practice it while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is among us, without asking him first?' So we asked him about it, and he said, 'There is no harm if you do not do it. Every soul that is to come into existence until the Day of Resurrection will certainly come into existence.'"
