A group of people drank wine on the morning of the Battle of Uhud, and that very day they were all killed as martyrs. This was before wine had been prohibited. Among them were Hamza bin Abdul-Muttalib, al-Yaman the father of Abu Huzaifa, Anas bin Nadr, and Musab bin Umayr.
صبح أناس غداة أحد الخمر، فقتلوا من يومهم جميعا شهداء، وذلك قبل تحريمها. منهم: حمزة بن عبد المطلب، واليمان أبو حذيفة، وأنس بن النضر، ومصعب بن عمير.
