The Prophet ﷺ placed Abdullah bin Jubayr in command of the archers on the day of Uhud. The enemy struck down seventy of us, while the Prophet ﷺ and his companions had struck down one hundred and forty of the polytheists on the day of Badr, seventy taken captive and seventy killed.Abu Sufyan said, "A day for the day of Badr, and war goes by turns."
جعل النبي ﷺ على الرماة يوم أحد عبد الله بن جبير، فأصابوا منا سبعين، وكان النبي ﷺ وأصحابه أصابوا من المشركين يوم بدر أربعين ومائة، سبعين أسيرا وسبعين قتيلا. قال أبو سفيان: يوم بيوم بدر، والحرب سجال.
