Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Campaigns (4027), from Ibrahim bin Musa, who said, Hisham (that is, Ibn Yusuf al-Sanani) informed us, from Maamar, from Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, that Zubayr said, and then he mentioned it.Ibn Hajar said, "The number mentioned here differs from the hadith of Bara, which states that the emigrants numbered more than sixty. The two can be reconciled by saying that the hadith of Bara refers to those who were physically present at the battle, while the hadith in this chapter refers to those who were present both physically and by proxy. It is also possible that the first number refers to the free men, and the second includes their attached clients and followers as well." Fath al-Bari (7/326)
