The Prophet ﷺ said, "Every prophet has a prayer that he makes, and I wish to reserve my prayer as intercession for my nation on the Day of Judgment."
أن النبي ﷺ قال: لكل نبي دعوة يدعو بها، فأريد أن أختبئ دعوتي شفاعة لأمتي في الآخرة.
Malik related it in Quran (26) from Abu Zinad, from Araj, from Abu Hurairah, and mentioned it. Qanabi also related it by this same route from Imam Malik, as Jawhari related it in Musnad Muwatta (533).Bukhari related it in Supplications (6304) from Ismail (who is Ibn Abu Uways), from Malik, with his chain.Muslim related it in Faith (198) by the route of Ibn Wahb, who said, Malik bin Anas informed me, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, in similar fashion. Jawhari also cited it by the route of Ibn Wahb in Musnad Muwatta (147), and he denied that Qanabi had a route through Ibn Shihab.The hadith has other routes that Muslim mentioned, and Bukhari related it in Divine Oneness (7474) by another route from Zuhri.
