Anas bin Malik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ established a bond of brotherhood between Abu Ubayda bin Jarra and Abu Talha.

Muslim narrated it in "Fadail al-Sahabah" (2528) from Hajjaj bin Shayr, who said, "Abdul-Samad narrated to us, Hammad (meaning Ibn Salama) narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas," and he related it.
