When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Medina, the Abyssinians played with their spears in celebration of his arrival, rejoicing at his coming.
لما قدم رسول الله ﷺ المدينة لعبت الحبشة لقدومه بحرابهم فرحا بذلك.
Narrated by Abu Dawud (4923), Ahmad (12649), and Diya in Al-Mukhtarah (1781), all of them from the hadith of Abdul-Razzaq, and it is in his Musannaf (19723). He said, Mamar narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, and he mentioned it. Its isnad is sahih.
