My maternal uncles witnessed the pledge of Aqaba with me.Abu Abdullah (Bukhari) said, Ibn Uyayna said, "One of them was Bara bin Marur."
شهد بي خالاتي العقبة. قال أبو عبد الله (البخاري) قال ابن عيينة: أحدهما البراء بن معرور.
He narrated it in the Book of Virtues (3890) from Ali bin Abdullah, who said, Sufyan told us, saying, Amr used to say, I heard Jabir bin Abdullah saying, then he mentioned it.He also narrated it (3891) from Ibrahim bin Musa, who said, Hisham informed us, that Ibn Jurayj informed them, that Ataa said, Jabir said, "I, my father, and my maternal uncle were among the companions of the Pledge at Aqabah."
