Abu Qasim ﷺ said, "Name yourselves after my name, but do not take my kunya as your own."
قال أبو القاسم ﷺ: تسموا باسمي ولا تكتنوا بكنيتي.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Virtues (3538), and Muslim in the Book of Manners (8:2134), both through Sufyan Ibn Uyayna, from Ayub, from Muhammad bin Sirin, who said, "I heard Abu Hurairah say," and then he related it.
