If you wish to see the ignorance of the Arabs, read what comes after verse one hundred and thirty in Surah Anam, "Lost indeed are those who kill their own children in foolishness, without knowledge, and forbid what Allah has provided for them, inventing lies against Allah. They have gone astray and were never rightly guided" [Anam 6:140].
Bukhari related it in the Book of Virtues (3524), from Abu Yaman, who said, "Abu Awana narrated to us, from Abu Bishr, from Saeed bin Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas," and then mentioned it.Only a few remained upon the religion of Ibrahim , among them Qass bin Saada Iyadi, Zayd bin Amr bin Nufayl, Umaya bin Abu Salt, Abu Qays bin Abu Anas, Khalid bin Sinan, Nabigha Dhubyani, Zuhayr bin Abu Sulma, and Kaab bin Luay bin Ghalib, one of the forefathers of the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ was born upon the religion of Ibrahim, as will be mentioned later.
