I asked the Prophet ﷺ to intercede for me on the Day of Resurrection, and he said, "I will do so."I said, "Messenger of Allah, where shall I look for you?"He said, "Look for me first at the Sirat."I said, "And if I do not find you at the Sirat?"He said, "Then look for me at the Scale."I said, "And if I do not find you at the Scale?"He said, "Then look for me at the Pool, for I will not fail to be at one of these three places."
سألت النبي ﷺ أن يشفع لي يوم القيامة، فقال: أنا فاعل. قال: قلت: يا رسول الله فأين أطلبك؟ قال: اطلبني أول ما تطلبني على الصراط. قال: قلت: فإن لم ألقاك على الصراط؟ قال: فاطلبني عند الميزان. قلت: فإن لم ألقك عند الميزان؟ قال: فاطلبني عند الحوض، فإني لا أخطئ هذه الثلاث المواطن.
Tirmidhi (2433) narrated it from Abdullah bin Sabbah Hashimi, who said, Badal bin Muhabbar told us, Harb bin Maymun Ansari Abu Khattab told us, Nadr bin Anas told us, from his father, and he mentioned it. Ahmad (12825) also narrated it from Yunus bin Muhammad, who said, Harb bin Maymun told us, with his chain of transmission, likewise.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Harb bin Maymun, for his narration is hasan. Tirmidhi said, "A hasan gharib hadith, we do not know it except from this route."
