Anas bin Malik reported,
The Prophet ﷺ recited this verse, "And when his Lord manifested Himself to the mountain, He made it crumble to dust" [Araf 7:143].Hammad said, "Like this," and Sulayman placed the tip of his thumb over the top joint of his right finger.He said, "So the mountain sank into the earth, and Musa fell down unconscious."

أن النبي ﷺ قرأ هذه الآية: {فلما تجلى ربه للجبل جعله دكا} قال حماد: هكذا، وأمسك سليمان بطرف إبهامه على أنملة أصبعه اليمنى، قال: فساخ الجبل خر موسى صعقا
Tirmidhi (3074), Ahmad (12260), Ibn Abu Asim in Sunnah (480, 481), and Hakim (2/320) all narrated it through various chains from Hammad bin Salama, from Thabit, from Anas, as mentioned.Tirmidhi said, "Hasan gharib sahih, we do not know it except through the hadith of Hammad bin Salama."Hakim said, "This is a sahih hadith meeting the criteria of Muslim."As for his statement, "and Sulayman held back," this refers to Ibn Harb, the narrator from Hammad bin Salama.
