Abu Hurairah reported,

I went out to Mount Tur and met Kaab al-Ahbar, so I sat with him. He related to me from the Torah, and I related to him from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Among what I told him was that I said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best day upon which the sun has risen is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he was sent down from Paradise, on it his repentance was accepted, on it he died, and on it the Hour will come. There is no creature that does not listen attentively on Friday from the time it wakes until the sun rises, out of fear of the Hour, except for jinn and humans. In it there is an hour during which, if a Muslim servant happens to be praying and asks Allah for something, He will surely grant it to him."
