The Prophet ﷺ performed the eclipse prayer. He mentioned the account, and at the end of the hadith he said, "The Fire drew so near to me that I said, 'My Lord, am I among them?' Then suddenly there was a woman" — I think he said — "being scratched by a cat. I asked, 'What is the matter with this woman?' They replied, 'She confined it until it died of hunger. She neither fed it nor released it to eat'" — Nafi said, I think he said — "from the small creatures of the earth."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Adhan (745) from Ibn Abu Maryam, who said, Nafi bin Yazid told us, who said, Ibn Abu Mulayka told me, from Asma bint Abu Bakr, and he mentioned it.
