A child died and I said, "How fortunate he is, a sparrow among the sparrows of Paradise."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do you not know that Allah created Paradise and created the Fire, and He created people for this one and people for that one?"
توفى صبي فقلت: طوبي له عصفور من عصافير الجنة. فقال رسول الله ﷺ: أو لا تدرين أن الله خلق الجنة وخلق النار، فخلق لهذه أهلا، ولهذه أهلا.
Muslim narrated it in the Chapter on Divine Decree (2662) from Zuhayr bin Harb, who said, Jareer narrated to us, from Ala bin Musayab, from Fudayl bin Amr, from Ayesha bint Talha, from Ayesha, mother of the believers, and he mentioned it.It has been narrated from Anas bin Malik, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, that he said to Jibreel , "What is it with me that I have never seen Mikail laugh?" He said, "Mikail has not laughed since the Fire was created."Ahmad narrated it (13343) from Abu Yaman, who said, Ibn Ayyash narrated to us, from Umara bin Ghaziya Ansari, that he heard Humayd bin Ubayd, the freedman of the Banu Mualla, say, I heard Thabit Banani narrate from Anas bin Malik, and he mentioned it.Ismail bin Ayyash is a Syrian whose narrations are unreliable when he transmits from those outside his own region, and his teacher here is from Madinah. Humayd bin Ubayd is unknown, and it is not known who he is, as stated in Tajil Manfaa.
