She told him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ left her one night. She said, "I became jealous over him. When he came back and saw what I was doing, he said, 'What is the matter with you, Ayesha, are you jealous?'I replied, 'Why should someone like me not be jealous over someone like you?'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Has your devil come to you?'I asked, 'Messenger of Allah, is there a devil with me?'He said, 'Yes.'I asked, 'And with every person?'He said, 'Yes.'I asked, 'And with you too, Messenger of Allah?'He said, 'Yes, but my Lord helped me against him until he submitted.'"
Muslim narrated it in the chapter on the description of the Resurrection (2185), from Harun bin Saeed Ayli, who said, Ibn Wahb told us, Abu Sakhr informed me, from Ibn Qusayt, who told him that Urwa told him that Ayesha told him, and he related it.
