Muslim narrated it in Zuhd (2996) through several routes from Abdul-Razzaq, from Mamar, from Zuhri, from Urwa, from Ayesha, and so he mentioned it. His saying "marij" refers to the flame mixed with the blackness of fire.On this subject, it is also narrated from Atiya Saadi, from the Prophet ﷺ, that he said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Anger comes from the devil, and the devil was created from fire, and fire is only extinguished by water, so when one of you becomes angry, let him perform wudu."This was reported by Abu Dawud in Adab (4784), Ahmad (17985), and Tabarani in al-Kabir (17/167), all of them through the route of Ibrahim bin Khalid, from Abu Waail Sanani Muradi, who said, we were sitting with Urwa bin Muhammad when a man was brought in to him and spoke to him in a way that angered him. When he became angry, he got up, then came back to us having performed wudu, and said, "My father narrated to me from my grandfather Atiya," and so he mentioned it.Abu Waail is the storyteller whose name is Abdullah bin Buhayr Sanani. He narrates from Urwa bin Muhammad bin Atiya extraordinary things as though fabricated, and it is not permissible to rely on him, as Ibn Hibban said in al-Majruhin (2/25). This hadith has also been narrated with its chain from Ahmad bin Hanbal.Some have identified Abu Waail as Abdullah bin Buhayr bin Raysan, who is trustworthy.Also in the chain, the father of Urwa bin Muhammad bin Atiya is unknown, and he is the sole source of this hadith, narrated only by his son Urwa. Urwa bin Muhammad bin Atiya was not deemed trustworthy by anyone except Ibn Hibban, and for this reason al-Hafiz said, "acceptable," meaning when corroborated, but I have found no corroboration for him, so his hadith is weak. There are other hadiths with a similar meaning, and all of them are daif.
