Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Sales (2222), and Muslim in the Book of Faith (155:242), both of them from Qutayba bin Saeed, who said, Layth narrated to us, from Ibn Shihab, from Ibn Musayab, that he heard Abu Hurairah saying it, and he mentioned it.In another narration, "And until a single sajdah is better than the world and everything in it." Then Abu Hurairah says, "Recite, if you wish, "And there is none among the People of the Book but that he will believe in him before his death" [Nisa 4:159]."His statement, "and he will abolish jizya," means that Isa will not accept from the People of the Book anything but Islam or death, unlike today, for when disbelievers agree to pay jizya, they are not compelled to accept Islam. This ruling remains in force until close to the Hour. But when Isa descends, it will be abrogated by the ruling of the Prophet ﷺ, which is that Isa will accept nothing but Islam or death.His statement, "and wealth will overflow," comes from his justice , and blessings will descend from the sky, so the produce of the earth will become abundant.His statement, "before his death", means the death of Isa , for his descent to earth and his declaration that he is a servant of Allah and His messenger is a refutation of the Christian belief in his divinity.However, many exegetes held that the pronoun refers to the person from the People of the Book, and that before his death he will believe in the humanity of the Messiah, that he is a servant of Allah and His messenger, but his faith will not benefit him at the moment of the death struggle, as is well known.
