Abdullah bin Umar said, "Zubayr, Miqdad bin Aswad, and I set out for our properties in Khaybar to attend to them. When we arrived, we dispersed to our individual estates. During the night, while I was asleep on my bed, someone attacked me and dislocated my arms at the elbows."He continued, "When morning came, my two companions cried out for help on my behalf and came to me. They asked me, 'Who did this to you?'I replied, 'I do not know.'"He said, "They set my arms right, then brought me to Umar, who said, 'This is the work of the Jews.'"Then Umar stood to address the people and said, "People, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had made an arrangement with the Jews of Khaybar that we could expel them whenever we wished. They have now attacked Abdullah bin Umar and dislocated his arms, as has reached you, in addition to their earlier attack on the Ansar. We have no doubt that they were the perpetrators, for we have no enemy there but them. Whoever has property in Khaybar should go to it, for I am expelling the Jews."So he expelled them.
Ahmad narrated it (90) from Yaqub, that is, Ibn Ibrahim, who said, my father told us, from Ibn Ishaq, who said, Nafi, the freedman of Abdullah bin Umar, told me, from Abdullah bin Umar, and he related it.Abu Dawud narrated it (3007) from Ahmad bin Hanbal through the same chain, very briefly. Its isnad is hasan because of Muhammad bin Ishaq, for his hadith is hasan when he states his source explicitly.
